Why you should not join Powerful Intentions
By Ru-an Zietsmann
The law of attraction is on everyone tongues these days. After the book The Secret came out it has become somewhat of a phenomenon. Can you really attract anything you want into your reality through your thoughts and intentions? I believe the answer is yes. But what one should take into account is that the law of attraction is only one universal law. The reason why the law of attraction is not working for many people is because the other universal laws are just as important. So using only the law of attraction you are only using a fraction of the power available to you. If you are using the law of attraction in the right way but you are neglecting the other laws the law of attraction may not work for you. This is only one of the problems on Powerful intentions forum. Many people go there expecting to change their lives but it is not that simple. And while the people on Powerful Intentions are very warm and supportive the admin is just the opposite. They delete threads without notice and explanation. There is very little freedom of speech. For a forum that is supposedly open minded the admin is everthing but open minded. Countless threads was closed while i was there and i finally got banned for my views on religion. A religious nut even made up a post which i never wrote and i got banned for it. So while the people there are great I don't recommend Powerful Intentions if you are a person who believe in freedom of speech. Another thing that bothered me is that The Secret was without a doubt motivated to a large extent by materialism. They had an excellent marketing strategy and it became a huge success. But people are starting to find out it is not quite what it seemed. The atmosphere on PI was the same, not because of the people but because of the admin. They have several ads on their site so there is no doubt in my mind this is about money for them. They are just a spinoff of The Secret. And true to the law of attraction they have attracted a whole lot of spammers to their site that is a big annoyance for the serious members. Some people have even left the forum because of it. Powerful intentions is a nice site if you just want to meet nice people and socialize, but it's hardly a place to talk seriously about the law of attraction and freely speak your mind. I went to the forum because I thought it might be a place to get away from religious indoctrination but in the end I got banned because a religious person lied about me. I do not recommend this forum. |
