The Power of Now vs The Law of Attraction

I dont know how many of u have read The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle or The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Basically the Power of Now says that thought is like a disease in humans because it makes us lose touch with the Source. It keeps us from being in the present where the Source dwells. I could go on and on about what it means but i think you more or less get the picture. So in a sense Eckhart Tolle teaches that thought is the enemy, whereas the law of attraction of course teaches that it is one of our greatest allies. Also The Secret is mostly about the fulfillment of desire, whereas the Now is about finding happiness in this moment, not in some future time when all your desires have been fulfilled. After all happiness can only be found in the Now, because the future does not exist. Personally i believe in the Now AND the law of attraction. Do you think we can use both? Do you think we should? Or do u think that they conflict?
