My Internet Experience

Last year was the first time I discovered the internet as a place to earn money. Of course I started with my affiliate programs and tried for a full year to make a success of it. That may not be enough time but it sure was enough for me. I now actually developed a certain amount of hate for MLM(Multi Level Marketing). I can tell you from my own experience that it is 90% pure rubbish. The thing with the internet is it is impersonal so there will always be people trying to take advantage of that. You MUST realize this fact and take it to heart before you will achieve anything on the internet. It took me a year to figure this out but I'm glad I did because now I can focus on what will make me real money and I won't get distracted. My favorite ways to make money online is investing, Squidooing and blogging. None of these are MLM, you get to be creative and write about things you are passionate about instead of trying to steal people's money. And you actually get paid for it! Most investment programs on the internet are also scams, even more so then affiliate programs. But I have found this one program called 10dollarswonder which is sustainable in the long run and keeps paying me. Then Squidoo is a community where you can build your own websites called lenses in a few easy steps. It's all customized and you simply use the units they have created to build your website. There is many ways to make money with Squidoo. First of all Squidoo displays adsense ads on all their lenses and pays members ad revenue depending on the amount of pageviews their lenses got, the ranking of the lenses and other factors. In this way alone you can make a substantial income but of course as a website you can use it to promote anything you want. Something I like to promote on my lenses is Clickbank products. I also use Squidoo in conjunction with blogging. I advertise my blog on my lenses and vice versa. For instance I have a tennis blog about Roger Federer and several lenses about tennis. By putting my Swuidoo links on my blog I get traffic to my lenses and make my blog more interesting. I'm using the same process with another blog of mine about spirituality. This way I am creating a presence on the web and of course I also use Qassia which is just great. And of course I have adsense on both my blogs as well. It's all about building an empire and building traffic which will eventually result a substantial amount of adsense revenue. So I have found a way to make money being creative and doing something that I am passionate about. Of course some of these ventures takes time to yield a substantial profit, but in the mean time I have 10dollarswonder to keep me going. Ain't life grand! :-)
