Is life worth living?

What a strange question right! Not really, thousands of people think about this question every day. For masses of poeple life is void of any meaning, it's merely a question of survival for them, nevermind finding happiness. Therefor it's important to look at this question. There is countless scenarios that one can come up with where life does not seem worth living. To a certain extent as a human species we live in a collective nightmare, we have brought this upon ourselves. There is thousands of people every day who does not know where their next meal will come from, despite the fact that nature has so lavishly provided for us. But not only that we live in such stressful times that even the people who have the means to survive often suffer from depression or anxiety. We really seem to have made a good old mess of things as a species. No wonder our planet is on the verge of dying. Is there any reason to even continue this struggle? Is there any hope left? My answer is yes, there is a lot of hope. When one looks at the economy and state the planet is in among other things it's easy to lose sight of any positivity. One has to take into account that things will get worse before they get better. As a species we could be on the verge of a great awakening. For too long things have been out of control, something has to give. Many sources tell us that there will be a profound spiritual change on our planet, and it will happen soon. Therefor it's important to keep up the hope and trust that things are changing for the better even though paradoxically it may seem like things are changing for the worse. In the end we are all collectively creating our reality on earth through our thoughts and actions. As an individual there is much you can do by simply being a positive person and that optimism will spread to the people around you causing a chain reaction as it were. We as individuals have much more power then we give ourselves credit for. |
