Finding love also

I just saw the other thread from Cupcake about finding love and ive seen quite a few around here about attracting the right person etc. Together with money this seems to be one of the most sought after things around here. So im 29 and never had a girlfriend. I guess i should be embarrassed about it but im not. I mean its probably the thing i want more then anything else, even money. But my point is if its not there its not there. There was a time when finding a girlfriend was all i could ever think about, it was a real issue for me. It was just a waste of energy, i couldn't go on like that. Moreover it seems to me you have to have a certain amount of money to have love which doesnt make sense to me. I just wonder sometimes why people feel the need to give their power away like this. Its like they are saying they cant be happy without the perfect partner. How can you even be happy in a relationship if u feel that way? How can another person make you happy? Ok i can see where this is going, this is about sex isnt it? ;) Having that intimacy with the one u love must be one of the most amazing experiences on earth. If you tell me this is the case i would understand, but this is clearly not something you can force. Why even 'try' to make it happen?
